Muggle-wump was a monkey. He was friends with the Roly Poly Bird during his life in the Jungle.
History[]
The Enormous Crocodile[]
Muggle-wump lived in the Jungle. He was friends with the Roly Poly Bird. He was nearly eaten by the Enormous Crocodile, and later warned children that what they thought was a see-saw was actually a crocodile who wanted to eat them.
The Twits[]
Muggle-wump and his family were mistreated by the Twits, who are retired circus trainers, are trying to form the first upside-down monkey circus, leaving the monkeys to stand on their heads for hours at a time. If they fail to do what Mr. Twit says, Mrs. Twit beats them with her cane. Muggle-Wump and his family had enough and longed to return to Africa. Apart from their homesickness they hated the Twits for what they did to the poor birds every week but since the monkeys speak in an African language, the English birds cannot understand them, so the poor birds wind up boiling in Mrs. Twit's pie. Eventually with their friend The Roly poly bird they managed to save the birds and use the hugtight glue to make the Twits stand on their heads (gaining the revenge and fulfillment of their wish they have craved for months) and returned to africa as heroes
The Giraffe, the Pelly and Me[]
In the Giraffe, the Pelly and Me he is part of window cleaning service but with animals. A monkey, (who partially resembles Muggle-wump), a giraffe who acts as the ladder and a pelican who acts as the bucket. Keeping the water in his big beak. They wash the windows of a palace belonging to the duke and foil a robbery. They befriend a young boy and the duke rewards them with their hearts desires. For the monkey nuts, for the pelican fish, for the giraffe pink and purple flowers of a certain tree. And for the young boy, ownership of the Grubber (an abandoned sweet shop, where as the new owner he sells sweets from Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory)
