Franziska Liebing (6 February 1899 - 3 January 1993) was a German-born actress who for most of her career was based in West Germany. One of her most notable roles was as Grandma Josephine (Charlie Bucket's grandmother) in the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
She died on August 4, 1989, from natural causes, at the age of 88, at a nursing facility in Munich, Germany, although some sources state Krommenie, Netherlands, she died in Munich.
