Deep Roy is an Indian actor born in Kenya and raised in Gaum. His Father, Burt Roy, was a factory worker in Gaum. His mother, Soon Yee Roy, was a housewife as well as a bartender. She suggested that Deep go into acting after seeing him perform productions of Annie Get Your Gun with friends.

In 1967, Deep Roy landed his first part. As a small child in a cereal commercial for Kellogg's Corn Flakes. Much controversy over the next 30 years of his life has been made. In 2005, he co-starred in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory opposite Johnny Depp.
